As a courtesy, the following few steps will guide you through the easy setup of network faxing.
To setup the server, follow the following steps:
- Launch FaxTalk Multiline Server on your server computer.
- Click the Tools, Options menu.
- Select the Network Fax item in the left-hand tree list.
- Check the box titled: "Enable network fax server"
- Specify the Port, 1234 is the default.
- Click OK. The fax server is now ready to accept communications from clients.

To setup the clients, follow the following steps:
- Launch FaxTalk FaxCenter Pro on the client computer(s).
- Click the Tools, Options menu.
- Select the Network Fax item in the left-hand tree list.
- Select the checkbox, "Enable network fax client mode"
- Enter the IP address of the server, the below example, 192.168.1.95 is used.
- Enter the Port of the fax server from step 5 in the previous section. In this case, 1234.
- Click OK. The fax client will now send faxes through the fax server.
- Please note that if you previously used a modem on the client, you will need to click the Modem section and disable the modem.
