When going into TOOLS > ASDS PREFERENCES > FAXADMIN You do not have WinFax Pro listed as an available fax provider.
There may be several things that cause this issue:
Incorrect version of WinFax Pro.
FaxAdmin requires that you have WinFax Pro 10.03 or later. To check your version of WinFax Pro open the WinFax Pro message manager. Go to HELP > ABOUT. From there check the complete build number of WinFax Pro. It should be 10.03 or later. If you do NOT have 10.03 or later you will need to update.
Corrupt preferences for FaxAdmin.
Use the following steps to delete corrupt preferences for FaxAdmin:
- Close ACT! 2005/2006.
- Browse to C:Documents and Settingsyour usernameApplications DataASDS.
- Delete the ASDS folder.
- Locate your FaxAdmin installer.
- Right-click your FaxAdmin installer and choose "Repair".
- Once that has completed, restart ACT! 2005/2006 and go to TOOLS > ASDS PREFERENCES and try setting up WinFax Pro again.
