Winfax Pro Preferences There are several preferences that will affect the way FaxAdmin processes your fax from ACT!.
Here is an example of the Winfax Pro Preferences screen
Resolution will change the clarity in the appearance of the fax. By default "Normal" is suffice. If you are faxing an image or an attachment that you will require to be very clear and crisp then you will want to choose "Fine" from the list.
Default Cover Page is set to "Basic 1" by default. If you would NOT like to send a cover page automatically when you send a fax you can click the drop down arrow and choose "{None}".
Show Call Progress is set by default. This will show you a progress box and the actual number that is being used. It is recommended to leave this checked to avoid confusion with the number that is being dialed.
Off-Peak will cause the fax being sent to use the off-peak preferences that you have set in WinFax Pro.
Priority will set the urgency on the fax for your recipient.
WinFax Pro Quick Fax Preferences To change the preferences for a Quick Fax from within the WinFax preferences, click the "+" next to WinFax and click on "Quick Fax". You will see the screen below.
Show Send Screen will display the WinFax Pro send screen prior to sending the fax. You will then have additional options available since you will be in WinFax Pro prior to the fax being sent. Below is the WinFax Pro send screen.
Show Preview will display your prepared fax in the WinFax Pro viewer. This will give you the ability to preview the fax prior to sending. Below is the WinFax Pro preview screen.
