Show Scanner User Interface

 This option will cause the scanners User Interface to show up prior to the scan.  This is where you can change settings such as DPI, Black and White, etc. for your scanner

Auto Negate when Scanning

 Some scanners will automatically create a negative image which would be white text on a black background.  You can enable this setting to automatically switch the negative image back.

Auto Rotate Images

 This option can be used to correct issues with the finished scan that may orient the image the wrong direction.  You can set this as a default here.

Set Scanner Defaults Button

 Some scanners will allow DocAdmin to set some standard defaults such as the DPI, or Color Settings, etc.  If you have this type of scanner you can enable these defaults here.

Use TWAIN mode when using WIA

 Some scanners that ONLY use the Windows WIA driver can have difficulties.  If you find issues with your scanner, you can check this option to drive the scanner with TWAIN even though the default driver is WIA.
