Embedded in the computer industry for years, Steve has prior work experience at DEC, Motorola and Data Storage Marketing. He founded ASDS in 1989, and became an ACT!® Certified Consultant in 1991. Steve's working knowledge of ACT! is so significant that he has been called in quarterly by Symantec®, and now Interact Commerce Corporation to teach the ACT!® Certification Course for all new ACT!® Consultants. Consequently, Steve has trained approximately three fourths of the ACT! consultants in the world.
Due to his reputation, Steve was invited to and attended the first SalesLogix® Business Partner Conference ever held in 1997. He has given legal testimony as an Expert Witness on ACT!, and he has been invited to special focus group sessions to render his opinion on the Sales Automation marketplace.
Steve's specialty is Synchronization. He relishes in conquering any and all technical problems that any other normal human being would run away from! If you've got something special you want to do, Steve will figure out a way to make it happen!

Duane is the ASDS resident worldwide expert on the internals of ACT! and is also a Saleslogix Certified Engineer. Duane attended the Oregon Institute of Technology and majored in Computer Systems Engineering Technology and Computer Software Technology. He has been programming since 1980 in a variety of languages including BASIC , Pascal, C, Fortran, Cobol and Assembly. Duane was hired by Symantec in 1993 to work on the ACT! product. As a result of his incredible talent and the knowledge of the ACT! internals, Duane became a Senior Product Engineer for ACT! at Symantec. During his tenure there, Duane trained hundreds of ACT! Certified Consultants worldwide. He also wrote many ACT! related programs which are still actively in use today, including:
ACTDiag - The diagnostic tool that comes with ACT! 3, ACT! 4, ACT! 2000/5 and ACT! 6.
PUBLIC -a conversion program to make private activities public.
REPAIR - the first repair program for ACT!2 and REPAIR3 for ACT!3.
PASS204 - Password recovery for ACT!
UNDELETE - The first ACT! record undeletion utility.
In 1999, Duane was finally snagged by ASDS to head up our own product development and custom programming. He is the author of ACTScan, AutoAdmin 1 & II, EMMA, FaxAVE, PivotAct, SOM and tons of specialized customer applications.
Duane's hobbies include listening to his scanner, to which he's written 8 books. He also enjoys tinkering with electronics and just about anything hi-tech. Duane is quite the gizmo-junkie. He also enjoys building computer systems for friends and family.

Jean graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Computer Science. During her 15 years prior work experience at NCR and Data General she sold over $25 Million dollars worth of Computer Hardware, Software and related services. She has configured everything from a desktop PC to a Mainframe designed for 99.9% uptime. As a top performer, she has received many awards and accolades for her sales achievements. She has lived with the pressures of making quotas and Sales Clubs for years and understands what salespeople and sales managers have to do to make it to the top.
As co-owner of ASDS, Jean pushes the organization to go above and beyond to service salespeople in need. She knows salespeople want to focus on their customers - and not on computer problems, and she knows they want someone that they can call immediately when they need help. Having been an end user through several implementations of various Sales Automation Tools, Jean has keen sense as to what will work in the real world. At ASDS, Jean handles all of our Sales, Customer Relations and Scheduling.
